Lauren Wiseman became involved with Health Information Exchange efforts in Illinois in 2009 through planning-grant workgroups and joined the Central Illinois Health Information Exchange in 2011. A registered nurse with more than 30 years of healthcare experience across several clinical settings, she developed a strong focus on health information technology and health information exchange. As Clinical Services Manager, Lauren worked with participating healthcare organizations to provide clinical project management, promote effective HIE adoption, and support Meaningful Use efforts. Her implementations included large integrated delivery networks, community hospitals, critical-access hospitals, and independent practices. Before joining CIHIE, she served as a Clinical Informatics Specialist for the Rural Health Center in Clinton, Illinois, where she led an electronic health record implementation and a HRSA Small Rural Health Quality Grant. Lauren has participated in HIMSS leadership and advocacy activities and served as a peer reviewer for continuing education through the American Nurses Association. In 2012, she was appointed to the Care Coordination Quality Measurement Panel Advisory Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Maryville College and a Master of Science in Nursing from Duke University. She is board certified in Nursing Informatics.

Lauren Wiseman became involved with Health Information Exchange efforts in Illinois in 2009 through planning-grant workgroups and joined the Central Illinois Health Information Exchange in 2011. A registered nurse with more than 30 years of healthcare experience across several clinical settings, she developed a strong focus on health information technology and health information exchange.
