Stacey Klinker is a driven early-career professional with a strong foundation in human resources and healthcare administration. Currently serving as a Healthcare Executive Consultant at The Healthcare Executive, Stacey demonstrates her commitment to leadership and community service as the President of the Board for the Bondurant Community Library. Additionally, Stacey volunteers on the Awareness Committee for Cherubs, an organization dedicated to supporting families affected by congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH). In her role as a hospital angel for Cherubs, Stacey serves as a resource for local hospitals, providing guidance and distributing essential information about CDH to improve patient education and care. Before taking on her current role, Stacey gained valuable experience at the VA Central Iowa Healthcare System in Human Resources. There, she managed the credentialing process for dependent practitioners, ensuring all employment standards were met. As a member of the hospital’s Preventative Ethics Committee, Stacey co-facilitated focus groups that identified and addressed opportunities for improvement within the organization. These experiences reflect her ability to enhance operational effectiveness and contribute to better outcomes in healthcare environments. Stacey’s academic achievements further demonstrate her dedication to the field. She earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration from Drake University, where she refined her skills in strategic management and healthcare operations. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Simpson College. During her studies, Stacey completed internships with VA Central Iowa’s payroll department and the John Stoddard Cancer Center. At the latter, she developed an acuity scale to measure care coordinators’ workloads, showcasing her analytical and organizational strengths early in her career. An active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), Stacey remains deeply engaged in professional development and leadership within the healthcare community.
