I was born on October 29, 1966 in Grand Detour, Illinois where I lived for 17 years. I attended Sauk Valley Community College and Northern Prairie School of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. I have been employed by KSB Hospital for 11 years, launching the Massage Therapy Department, developing the Hospitalist Program, and currently developing and coordinating the Community Wellness Initiatives. I am married to Matthew for 16 years and have 2 children: Zeberiah age 13 and Zachary 11. Volunteer experience includes: Northwest Illinois Special Olympic Development Chair for 20 years, Dixon Public School Parent Organization, local Boy Scout and Girl Scout Troops, Lee County ARC Past Board Member, and Alzheimer’s Association Past Board Member. In my leisure time I love running my boys to their ice hockey games and down hill skiing races, and watching the Chicago Blackhawks. In the summer I live in my garden, can our vegetables, and tend to our small farm.
