Dr. Vicky Parikh, MD, MPH

Dr. Vicky Parikh is a result oriented healthcare executive with more than 10 years of experience who combines clinical, population health, public health, clinical research and data management knowledge to transform healthcare systems and improving care delivery and quality. He is currently the Executive Director of Population Health and Clinical Research at MedStar Shah Medical Group responsible for the overall strategic direction and coordination of all population health initiatives including ACO, PCMH, MMPP, Million Hearts, care management, chronic disease management programs, quality improvement and outcome components.As Executive Director of Reliance Health, Vicky has successfully led formation and implementation of 5 Accountable Care Organizations (ACO) in 12 counties in Maryland, 4 counties in Virginia and District of Columbia with independent private practices collaborating to achieve the three part aim for 60k Medicare beneficiaries. Vicky had received a Master’s degree in Public Health from George Washington University. He also received his Medical Degree abroad at Mumbai University in Mumbai, India and worked in ICU at Bombay Hospital in tertiary care setting. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE). Vicky is also a member of Maryland State HIE Advisory Panel and Maryland State Practice Transformation Committee.
