Gene Vogelgesang has been the public relations director at Illinois Valley Community Hospital for 25 years. He came to IVCH from Illinois Valley Community College, where he was the assistant director of public information services. Before that, he was the news director at WIZZ (now WSPL) Radio in Streator, Illinois. Gene has a degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Missouri.
