Jim is the Senior Vice President & Chief Information Officer of OSF Healthcare System. In this role, he is accountable for all facets of enterprise-wide Information Technology, Tele-communication and Tele-health technical services. Mr. Mormann has more than 25 years of experience in Information Technology in a health care setting with 20 of those years in executive leadership roles. Jim is considered a thought leader and thus serves on numerous state and local healthcare boards along with advisory positions to many technology companies. His broad background has allowed him to understand the need for a collaborative structure between business units and the Information Technology areas to ensure information technology supports the caregiver. The organizations where Jim has led the technology initiatives have been recipients of ten Modern Healthcare’s “Most Wired” and “Most Wireless” awards and received the State of Iowa’s “Prometheus” award for Best Use of Technology. Jim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Dubuque.
